Good Morning!

Post by JimW » Mon Oct 31, 2016 10:02 am

Good morning, grey and cool here but at least it is dry. I have a couple appointments today, so I took the day off, hoping to get a few things done around the place in between appointments, but doubtful. I got 25 bales of straw yesterday to cover the strawberries and for the birds, need to get in under cover asap before we get more wet weather.

I have met a few PTOers in person and a bunch know I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes last December, at only 43 years old, and have received support and advice from very members here, which I greatly appreciate. Just like to say a big thank you. Not sure I mentioned it before but through diet change and exercise (yuck!!) my doctor took me off my diabetes medication Septmeber 1st, so 2 months med free!!!

Healthy eating and exercise (still not a fan, but getting better) continues..... as I sit here looking at a bowl of Halloween candy.

For those that I have not seen in person in awhile... here is updated photos... last year on the left, about 1 month ago on the right!!

Well I better get doing something, hope everyone has a great day!
