Yes I had a harrier come down between the coops low and fast. Boy I miss Lucky! Birds all safe though, think it was after the sparrows in the brush pile.

guy @ the Home Hardware told me skunks Hate ammonia.
Said to pour some in a dish & leave where the birds can't get it.
I was patching the mouse holes in the floor, so I poured some down the holes.
Put moth ball under the floor. I have Not smelled the skunk since.
I've even thought of pouring some ammonia on a rag & leave it under the coop.
(Chickens can NOT get to it, but the skunk & mice can)

We use pepper. Get this big jug @ Home Depot and sprinkle around our home (ok we get a few jugs)
Helps to keep them all away.
