Is that the kind that always falls into the bathtub? The ones out in the fields are all colours. I'm not saying they're huge but.... oh wait yes I am.

Thankfully, no. the bathtub spiders are harmless, long legs n tiny body.

well I believe its better to know than not know, but I did give you the option. ;-) a buddy of mine out at camp was perfectly happy not knowing anything about them, but I found one on his trailer while putting up his awning and showed him... he curses me evertime he gets there and checks over his entire trailer for them and sprays any he may think are them, he hates spiders but leaves them alone if there not in his space.

DE (diatomatious earth, food grade)will take care of soft body insects and is perfectly natural. I sprinkle it on the litter and roosts every once in awhile . Wearing a face mask is necessary, you don't want to inhale any.
So far no pesky bugs. I've been using it for about 10 years now.
You can use a pump thingy to spray the walls and ceiling for the spider infestation.
In general I leave them alone but the big black ones this year are too scary. It also works well with ant infestations in the house.
Not affiliated but I do love the stuff :).
