As mentioned ... profile shots are best for evaluating the birds.. just a tip for would be turkey exhibitors .... they should be standing at easy not fanning and strutting ... this is a big misconception that they should be fanning and strutting .. I will be assessing the birds type if they are fluffed and strutting I can not tell what type of body type and angles they have.. this is the same for birds that I judge in the flesh , I do all I can to stop them from strutting and fanning. I would suggest not including pigeons in this competition... I do judge pigeons when asked but that is only due to me being a breeder of several breeds of them over the years.. by no means am I an expert in them... I hold no license to officially judge them .. poultry is a whole other topic.. bring on everything from chickens , waterfowl to guineas and turkeys.
just my 2 cents.
