Meanwhile we all need to rush out and build a "photo booth" right?Killerbunny wrote:QR_BBPOST I think that sounds good Martin. We need to give Troy all the time he needs as OPB show etc coming up very soon - yikes! As you say we don't need to rush things but we do need to get it right.

Sounds like we should have one of the topics before hand on tips for prepping your animal?
How about taking photo tips? Lighting, background, training to pose?

This is a great idea and might get some backyard breeders who don't know how good their birds really are to graduate to the shows. Also It will help to focus some breeding programs and save dilution of rare breeds. It will be a tough time getting good pictures though. Lucky to have Troy I say. I'm in.

I bathed a standard white Cornish Cock, who wasn't the best at being handled, and he took it like a pro. The warm water really calmed him so much I was worried we might need a crash cart.

Ya all are so brave, I was thinking of dusting them off and washing the feet? Maybe?
Still thinking of the "Photo Booth" though...
On positioning the bird for the photo....the right way....from the Ausie site
and while doing it think of the time you are saving not taking the bird to a show someplace else
not quite balanced...... well balanced bird with good lighting

Question from all of us who are planning to enter turkeys. How the heck do you pose turkey (I'm serious)?
