We made a couple of shooting lanes left & straight ahead from tree stand .
Now to decide where to put ground blind for crappy weather .

Looks like you're going to be prepared. Those lanes look great!

very very nice ross!

i had a success today too! found a crank cocking aid for my crossbow from a little archery store in london for 169.00$ that's lower than the suggested manufacturer's price LOL and about 60$ cheaper than basspro or cabelas for the same thing. and delivered to my house :-)
I'm going to try for deer this fall, if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, but i'm going to try....
i was up and down a ladder a few times this weekend, so that still seems to be okay.
just have to figure something out to lean the bow on while in the stand so i have time to make sure it's a good shot.
seeing your photo makes it hard to wait for the season to start LOL.

Good stuff Kathy . What shop was that ? Not sure what your stand looks like but I put a flat 2/4 across front of mine , removable held by ceiling bike hooks at each end . Keeps me from falling out & flat to lay shotgun or Xbows on . I'll get some closeup pics . I also use my Ameristep dogloo on ground for days I can't climb . Luck

was thinking about a simple 2x4...i think i sit far enough back to be able to shoulder it right with that....otherwise maybe just a 2x4 vertically from a step to under the bow....will have to try a couple things out and see what works.

store is archer's nook in london-they now do mail orders! :-)

Back to my ground blind , seeing I set up in one spot out back I also have a Blk leather , swivel ( complete ) turnaround well padded , lean back office chair . Makes the sit for long time with my back bearable . Luck

That is brilliant ross. Think i have some hooks hanging out...my stand is a bit different desgn but if i put some verticals up i could do that.
