Love spaghetti squash!!! Ross-that pie may have been the green pumpkin..it never really took off. Was popular for a little while and then white skinned pumpkins came out and its hard to find green ones anymore.

My favorite is warted hubbard squash. Problem is the regular sized ones are huge!!! So i grow the minis now. Perfect for 2 people.

I love spaghetti squash, I use it like pasta and find a slight sweet taste to it. I planted it this year, I saw one little sick plant left at the hardware store so I brought it home like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. Well did it ever grow with lots of squasheseses (lol) on it. How do I know when they are ready?

The older I get, the more I like pumpkin. My chickens love love love pumpkin, my neighbors were laughing last year when they hollowed out a big pumpkin and the little bantams would walk inside to eat.
