Good Morning!

Ooo what residence is chicken ninja in? I spent a year in lennox and the rest if undergrad in mountain. South is nicer than lennox but all are pretty spacious! She will have fun!!

Moved a wall in the house today. Okay-a bulkhead that the previous owners put in for no apprent reason except to have it. Um...have other plans for that room now-so out it went. Some vapour barrier to put back up and a strip of drywall....mud tape and mud and it will be good as new-well BETTER because it wont have a stupid bulkhead!!

Carrots are in the freezer. One small step for a gardener. No giant leaps for anything tho really...lol

Feed run done too. Needed cat food. Cant have them starving. Tough life here...slleping on the lawn chair in the sun....
Guess i better go measure up that drywall and send hubby to the store for drywall compound....

Congrats on cornering her jim! That will be me later this afternoon splitting up my girls. Lol

Great work Jim!

Apple sauce done yesterday.

I bushel of tomatoes done. 4 bushels to go.

Soooo much work in my slave operation. Definitely not full of convenient tools. Blah.

Wel.. Gotta get back at it. Fingers are almost numb.

WLLady, she's in Glengarry the east apartments by the arboretum.

So glad to hear you caught your Svart Hona, Jim.

Beautiful night. Moving more chickens over to my place tonight. Combining the 2 flocks into one.

Hope everyone has a good evening

Congrats Al!!! Thats wonderful!

Ah...east. nice area. Easy access to the arboretum. Nice place to go and walk and sit and get away. And far enough from class that you feel like you are going home and not actually still on campus!!

Got a bit done yesterday....we finally finished removing the one useless bulkhead in the front room. Just a bit of paint to go up now after a second coat of drywall compound. Yay!! Looks so much better! Then a surprise visit from a friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 6 months ago. Very resilient woman. They removed what they could and now as she puts it she lives every minute by minute until the end.
Great to see her.

Starlings are flocking.

funny to see them lined up on the hydro line. Lol the while line past 3 poles like that. Just doesnt fit in one photo...

A other nice bonfire last night. Treefrogs are singing again. Neighbours had fireworks last night-maybe a birthday? So impromptu display. Nice!!

Well folks we cant have another tie in the photo contest!!! Lol. Right now its neck and neck....

Another beauty day. Maybe i will try the treestand today. Once the corn dries. Need to get the tomatoes into the dryer too....should do that first.
Have a great one everyone!!!

I have seen the starling flying in groups like schools of fish already, sign of Fall coming..........

Today is dig up carrots and potatoes day, the tops pf the potatoes are gone so it's going to be fun trying to dig them up and not splice into them.

Paris Fair tonight with son and daughter-in-law, some country band is playing, can't remember the name. Always fun to go to and they have a good Poultry Show as well.

Had a great bonfire last night with a few family and friends, love the cooler evenings and warm days.

:congrats: Al on the 4 years, you deserve a BIG  from me!!

Enjoy the beautiful day all!! :fan:
