I'm hoping not too many KB. I am looking forward to coffee on the deck in warm socks and a big hoodie .. Sun shinning and frost on the ground. Then SNOW!

I've done my time with this brutal summer ... A cold harsh winter is in order.

ah sigh. so true....and yet so sad.
and yep, i just try not to get embroiled in that way of life. LOL.

Beautiful morning this morning. okay, no frost (quite yet) but it's 13C here and sunny. okay, going to be warm, but loving these mornings! (the afternoons could definitely cool down a little bit imo).

Yes these cool mornings are dreamy!! I need just a wee bit of frost to help with this ragweed this year. It's bad!!!

Can't wait for fall colours and squash and pumpkins and cool nights and cool days but the sun always shines so bright!

2 months early. i'm ticked. i'm not ready to make pies, or turn on the oven yet....it's still hot out in the afternoon! LOL. i planted them-to clarify, i put the SEED into the ground-not transplanted-june 4...and they're supposed to be late season pumpkins....95 days or something to maturity! yeah. right. NOT. the chickens enjoyed 2 of them this weekend. i did get 2 cooked and pureed and into the freezer for later....and there are another 3 on the picnic table...probably will give to the chickens too. they sure love them.
