Those "inspirational" posters are good, but the "deinspirational" posters are good fun.
I believe we make choices, and some fight and some give up, sometimes we win, sometimes winning is not worth it.

I've often thought winning is the problem...it may be semantics, but we aren't in a contest....at least not with each other...but the posters are extremely clever...

Our entire existence is a contest. A competition. Survival of the fittest. If we 'just are' as you say Tom we sure do a heck of a lot of damage and good for a species that just is.

ha ha! what is the point of "going down" if you can't raise your hand and scream "hey everybody, look i discovered something you SHOULDN'T do EVER!!! I'm going Dooooowwwwwwnnnnn!!!!" LOL. then pick your sorry butt up off the ground, laugh at yourself, and then laugh hysterically at the poor sot that does exactly the same thing, even after being warned....LOL.
