OK... your invited to a party.... my friend booked while here last night!! AND, by then, there will be the new catalogue. I DIDN"T buy stuff at Jess' place (well, I did... 3 things), but left 2 for my friends party. Sept 27th! I believe probs around 7pm. She lives in Dundas. 5 minutes from me!Maximus wrote:QR_BBPOSTNorwex?? You didn't call me!!! I was just browsing my Norwex catalogue this morning. I'm a big Norwex user. Boooo!!Bayvistafarm wrote:QR_BBPOST Glad to hear your coming back into your self WWW, I'm not sure how long it would take me to calm down after something like that. Probably never. It would consume me... and it would not be good. Especially if I had an inkling of whom it may be. I have NO tolerance for drinking and driving.
Another hot one coming up... and the 70% chances of rain have dropped to 40%. So.. our best shot of rain for another long stretch seems to be a pipe dream. Sigh. Getting REAL fed up with that.
Taking my time getting out this morning. I really should. Tired today. Did nothing yesterday really. Picked and cut and blanched beans... I can bring them up from the cookie sheets and use the sucker thing a friend brought me. Mine (old one she gave me), well, it doesn't suck anymore.
Earlier yesterday, I was out doing garden stuff... came in around 11am.. and stayed in basically. Went out periodically to refresh the bird baths.. for the birds and the bees. That thing is DONE when the flock of starlings are finished bathing. And, they muck it up so much. Don't care for those slobs.
Someone is coming this morning to give me an estimate on painting the bathroom. Dave painted it a long time ago, but used the humid paint, but somehow, or something was done/went wrong, and its all flaked. Been like that forever. I don't have the time or patience to do it. I hate stuff like that. This gal lives right down the road, can almost see her house. So, we will see what happens there.
Also today, a nephew who does heating/cooling is coming to rip out the furnace from the blue house where son Dave lives with his family, and putting in a small propane one. So... need to call for a tank (forgot yesterday), electrician needs to come... and putting in an AC unit. Probably looking at somewhere around $3500. Ugh. Can't really afford that, but its so so hot in that house. It was so bad last night sitting there, waiting for a NORWEX party to happen, when I said to Jess.... we are having this party outside. With 10 women in this house, in this little room, we will DIE. So we did, I got all the chairs I could find, and it was good!
They are going to Marineland today. Dave, Jess, and Sawyer. You sure won't see ME going anywhere in this heat. I imagine it will be a short trip. Poor Dave. He really doesn't want to go... but shes insistent.. so family day it is. lol.
I'd better quit rambling and get out to the barn. I'm going to do bookwork later... maybe. Another inside job, lol.
Good Morning! <=2017

Good Morning!
ITS RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It only rained for 10 minutes.. fairly decent, then quit. But, then sprinkled again... then quit. Now again, right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I would call pouring! Hopefully the last two 'rains' prepped the ground to hold this rain. But not likely.
Did bookwork all afternoon!! GADS, I am such a dolt! When I was doing my visa.. on quickbooks, I entered a credit on the yearly fee.... and then proceeded to enter all the other damn entries on credit. I tell ya.
I ordered a good camera online with my RBC points, and it never came... never came... never came.... and so I called. Wanted it for the damn babyshower for Melissa. It came and went. They could tell I was pissed. Well, turns out, although its ON there, STILL, its unavailable. WHAT??????????? So, I went ahead, and got best buy vouchers instead, and she went and got the same camera. Before the baby was born, thank GAWD. So... they gave me 5000 MORE points, AND reversed the annual fee!!!!!!!!!! YaHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still pouring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to go out and stand in it!! I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EDITED: I'm soaked, lol. It sure didn't last long. ALMOST 1/2 inch There was a honey bee in it, lol. Dead of course. I was driving the golf cart ON the hill by the garden, and it sounded like I was driving thru puddles. Sure didn't soak in. About 2mm down is wet. Sheesh. But its a start. We had TORRENTS in the driveway and on the flat, because it didn't soak in, but rain is rain. I'm hoping the corn and beans sucked some up.

Good Morning!
I can't believe I can't score some Muscovys from forum members. Sheesh, what is this world coming too. :) guess I'll end up at the auction tomorrow.
Hot hot hot day today. HOT!! Ava and I took a mini road trip. 4.5 hours on the road. Phew! I need to sit down and have a coffee. NOT!
We went to the organic chicken farm where she was adored of course. Everyone loves a puppy. But I know the love will change from her fan club
when she's an older gal. Anyways, then we went to a friends apple orchard where she grabbed an apple on the ground and ran like a lunatic with an apple in her mouth in and out of trees. After that energy outlet we were off to the bee supply guy, then the butcher. Quite the day. She's
and oddly enough I'm tired from doing nothing but driving.
Hope everyone is managing this heat ok.
Cheers!!

Good Morning!
Ross-even my 13 mm of rain wont save my lawn. Its totally yellow and crunchy except where we sit at night because we have been watering there. The horses are on hay bales now because theres no paddock grass. Even the weeds are pooching out. Corn is going yellow now too pretty fast. Going to be small cobs not fully filled this year.
Its evening...hubby working late so chores are mine tonight. 8 million trips with 2 liters of water at a time. Sigh. Cant carry a full bucket anymore. Annoying as heck. The mind wants to and the body tries and i have to lie on the floor for an hour to recover....
Got home and one of the turkey poults was out somehow. No clue how. Back in now-she came running over and let me pick her up and talked to me the whole way back to her pen mates lol.
Had sweet corn and fresh tomatoes for dinner. Yum. Cant wait to see if we can see some shooting stars tonight!!
Guess i better get chores done. Also need to check horse hay-it was looking a bit low yesterday....and time to clean out the water trough from mosquito larvae...not sure the horses appreciate the extra protein lol
