This was from Joel & Jenns Prosperity Acres. I love it but name tag was removed. The other plant didn't make it because it was destroyed by 5 (late) young cockerels before I could get to it! They clearly liked the bloom too.

I also have this nice morning glory which throws double flowers. Called Split Second.

I find mine are quite drought resistant. So inspired by the variety shown here....will have to get serious about planting them in the places of stuff that died this summer.

Yes Killerbunny, chickens love to eat those buds before they burst open. With all of our gardens we have problems with deer, ground hogs and rabbits, so my husband had to put a fence around them with beams and more wire fencing under the ground to prevent anything from digging under the fence. The chickens are only allowed in the gardens in the early spring and late fall. Voles in the winter have been a problem for our fruit trees and rose bushes. We are having quite a problem with chipmunks now too. Cedar Waxwings are back. Every year at this time they are just waiting for every Saskatoon berry to ripen. I have to try to pick them before they do.

My day lilies are beautiful but unfortunately my Asiatic's have been pulverized like swiss cheese by the lily beetles sAng_rantTealc:

well, this is a photo from last year.....i didnt get out yesterday, had an emergency rush over to a new chicken owners place to help deal with mites....the normal panic that happens the first time a new owner finds mites on the birds. so i will try again tonight...
anyhoo, these are the tall lilies (lily trees)-they are about the same height as i am tall, so about 5 foot 9 or so.
