FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!
Well I was really looking forward to a break with some PTO friends this weekend but it's been a wicked month of losing my job and a long and tiring move so I won't be able to come.
I hope everyone has a great time and thank www for her kind hosting of the event.
Will continue to enjoy meeting with everyone online for now!
Cheers!

FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!
Wishing you all the best Brebis!
So you all may have noticed that I havent been partaking in this discussion very much. Well we just wernt sure if we could make it or not. we also have a lot going on in our lives but we are doing all right. we have to pick n choose what we do and manage our money very carefully... man am I ever glad we live in the country, keep poultry and have some very nice gardens!
Unfortunately we wont be able to make it this year as much as we want to. its a fairly long drive for us, 6 1/2 hour drive. (i also measure distance in time LOL) Lizzie wont be able to sit in the truck that long and the 6 kids would prolly be going crazy by the time we got there LOL.
Thank you so much WWW for hosting our first annual PTO PICNIC!
PLEASE TAKE LOTS OF PICS N VIDEOS! I'll help you upload them if need be!
Have a great time all!!!
looking forward to the next one for sure!!!

FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!
hey all
I've also been preeetty quiet about this piknik. I've just read through the rest of the replies and reallyy sorry I can't make it either, with or without my family. Somehow the planets and stars aligned and both my sons will be home this weekend from their respective university towns/projects/programs. There was a year gap for one, and the other is about once every 4 months.
So I have to plan around their grandparents' times for visits and errands to get them sorted for school amidst their attempts to connect with friends too, as they won't be back, at least the one won't be, before late in the fall if not Xmas.
If they had not been coming, I would have been able to come alone for the event, but not with hubby unless a short short visit, as we are in same boat as a few others, with puppies to take care of, and birds, despite our closeness in location to WWW.
I had a really nice visit with killerbunny yesterday, and chitaquarott who I've not seen in a while either, so felt like a mini-gathering ahead. So yes, please, photos and hopefully next time!

FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!
So sorry to hear, Brebis, hopefully things take an upswing for you soon!
I completely understand people not being able to leave home for whatever reason, I've been pretty much a hermit for years (decades? LOL) now. If I had had to travel more than 20 minutes away I probably wouldn't have been able to either LOL, there's just so much that needs done this time of year! There will be other Pikniks, I'm sure! And many who are coming already know each other, or at least have traded birds before, so it's more like a reunion than a meet and greet.
Awesome you're going to visit with both your sons, Shaded! BTW, I still have the lacy-looking turkey hen I bought off you (5?) years ago. She still lays off and on from April to October.

No problem. As long as you are allowed onto that link the address and cell phone number are about halfway down on the first page. You could also PM windwalkingwolf if that doesn't work out. I'll check back later to see how you got on!

poultry_admin wrote:QR_BBPOST Hello All,
I think it's good to go public now.
Can everyone coming please fill out the form to the best of their knowledge?
Since it's still a month out, things might change with your plan. If so, please just fill it out and submit again.
Thanks!
If you are interested in what people are bringing to make sure there is no duplication, have a look at this spreadsheet.
