we left camp just in time it looks like n so far its missed us at home. I'll prolly have to water the garden GRRRR. LOL.

here's the latest radar image... see how it opens right up over Lake St. Clair in Michigan. that happens almost every time its supposed to rain or storm n we get nothing LOL. the fields are hurting around here and every wheat field seems stunted and completely yellow. looks like its ready to harvest except I dont think it is.

Haha Kathy , that's why rednecks have their house on wheels & crop on the roof so they can pull /drive it where the rain is . Lol

When I used to take Bulls to Montana to put on feed conversion test & sell , the ranchers used to say " they got rain every time they needed it & they needed it every time they got it "

Rained fairly hard here overnight..just the kind i like...saves me watering the veggies today...hoping for more tho...

Finally!! Poured. Thunder that shook the whole house! Eeeek! Even have a few puddles in driveway. Its soooooo humid this morning. Blah!

We didn't get much at all, and it stopped at around 6:30, even though it was supposed to continue until around nine o'clock. Everything is dying here. I've been watering the beds that most need it on a rotational basis, but don't want the well to run dry, so have been frugal. More hot, dry days this coming week. I'm not expecting much from my veggie garden this year, but at least the chickens will benefit from what does make it, since I planted their favourites.;-)
