So I sold most of what I had determined to start over. Good theory. Now i've got a road trip planned to pick birds n eggs.

Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.

I had finished turkey hatching for the year when 2 more of my girls went broody. I removed most of their eggs so we'll see what happens. Just transitioned some from the baby coop into the main pen. I have the 2 that weren't going to survive from the abandoned nest in the basement still going strong. These things breed like bunnies! Must cut down. Problem is they all look so darned nice when it comes to culling. Assuming they carry on like this the freezer will be full come winter. Must rationalise breeding stock - honestly.
