Jan,

When I lived in Harrowsmith (not too far from you) about 10 years ago we had massassauga rattlers AND bullfrogs. Those would of been big enough for dinner with left overs for sandwiches for lunch the next day.

Oddly enough, I feel like vomiting!

lets add some bacon. bacon makes everything better. or maybe deep fried with bacon...mmmm.... maybe that will help silkie sue and sandy a bit away from the ick factor. seriously...i've had snake a couple of times....it DOES taste like chicken....well, store bought chicken...not REAL chicken.....at least it did to me...

I'd peel the bacon off and eat it.

There isn't any snake in my future. Mind you, if I was stranded in the woods and one came by and I was one bite away from starving to death, I'd problem cave and eat a snake before I ate bugs. Ugh, goose bumps at the thought of it all. But I would have to NOT kabob it so it looked like a frigging snake. Chop it up or something, add some fiddles. Look at me, I'm in the woods stranded saving my life, from my lazy boy with a hot cup of coffee. Wow.

makes me want to find the pics of me and the biggest snake I ever had. a 20 year old, 12 foot, 75 lb Colombian Boa Constrictor. she was beautiful and a sweet heart. I also had her a mate, he was 19, about 50 lbs and only about 10 feet. ;-) the females dominate the reptile world for the most part. I sadly had to rehome these beauties, my landlord saw them and they were illegal due to the local bylaws. I traded them for a very special pair of peublan milksnakes less than a foot in lengh. LOL.
