So I guess bird flu is running rampant in a few states? Neat. Even dead stuff isn't allowed in!

the only infected bird I can find was a wild mallard Nov 17 2015 out of Oregon. so I am not sure what they are basing this on... hidden data maybe or just not published yet. the usda was faster at publishing data than the cfia. I havent checked the canadian list yet... brb.

the usda map states that all those states have been free of ai for over 90 days... maybe just a precaution?

Mallards shot here in fraser valley tested positive in November, also some wild ducks shot in Oregon have tested positive this fall .

I wasnt reading the USDAs website right its x amount of days since the last report, which ranges from 188 to 242 days for these states, I dont think they have been cleared yet. so i think this is still just ongoing... But I havent looked at the USDA or the CFIAs websites since Canada was given the all clear, was there restrictions already in place??????
