Lost another peahen today 3rd since last September,

she was active all afternoon (like they all have been before...) went to lock everyone in tonight dead in the doorway, any ideas?? Getting to be a costly venture

If it is all female birds that are suddenly dropping dead, I would suspect egg binding. Peacocks often do not show any signs of illness at all. You can always necrospy her and see if there's anything obvious wrong inside. If there's scarring or adhesions on the oviduct, you've got a flock-wide problem.

Have you been deworming as last year we lost two due to worm load.

WWW what do you mean by that, all diseased, or a genetic thing?

I would look to internal parasites. Worms are a particular problem for these birds. My go to resource and highly regarded info site for peafowl breeders is http://www.hopkinslivestock.com/Peafowl%20Articles.htm
They certainly are a fragile group. I find getting them over the first 8 months of life the trickiest. I feel for you. My worse hang up has been respiratory with any I have bought in. My home grown ones appear to be quite hardy. Best of luck.

Yes I do twice a year, in they're water and sprinkle some powder on the floor
