Lockdown this morning

Post by Colleen Kinzie » Tue May 10, 2016 6:06 pm

Batch 2 lockdown this morning
24 eggs only
23 fertile 1 questionable
14 clear. Not fertilized. Some of these eggs were from new laying hens that were only with rooster for 5 days. But gave it a try anyway
3 with blood rings
Fingers crossed
Darn readout not accurate on incubator for humidity so just put same amount of water in as last time and hope for the best

I've got some eggs in the hovabator. I upped the temp to 101.2F The readings at the top of the eggs are 99.5 or 99.8F at times. Not sure if this will make things better or not. Its damn cold in this house tho.. so upping it should cook and dry things out better, lol.
