Silkie Sue, several people are coming from your way, you may be able to hitch a ride :) I'm only an hour and a half away or so from Quebec border, Fairsing, and open late LOL :) Seriously though, if you're travelling back through when you're done, feel free to stop in and say hello, I'd love to meet you.
I was thinking for the meal that I'd provide veggies for make-your-own salads, and fruit trays, but I think it might be better to wait until I know what everyone else is bringing so I can fill in gaps. Reading what people have listed so far is making me hungry, so I can't decide LOL

I volunteered my husband Warren to help Bert supervise and arrange the shoot - he's a registered range officer and does that sort of stuff all the time. We're only around 15-20min from you so won't be staying overnight....looking forward to it. :)

We have decided to make the drive out for this. Discussions still ongoing re food, but will definitely bring brownies and make a pot of chili. We will camp out, or if weather turns, camp in the car.
Really looking forward to meeting everyone.

I will see her tomorrow. She is taking a break from the forum because of other busyness.

FIRST ANNUAL PTO PIKNIK WEEKEND-JULY 23!!!!
I'm working on it. Home situation has changed. I need to make sure the flock is in good hands. Should be do-able, but I really can't give 100% for my attendance just yet. Also not sure if that is the weekend the pup is ready for pick up, my commitment hinges on my girls arrival. I'll email the breeder and attempt to get an ETA.
Accomodations on the other end should be fine, I have family up that way. Wendy (goatgirl35) and I plan to travel together if I can make this happen.
I'm undecided as to what to bring and I'm open to suggestions. Kabobs? Meat? Veggie? Combos? All suggested? I make some interesting but yummy salads. I don't mind waiting till closer to the date and helping to fill a void Jan.
I'll definitely make and bring some buttertart squares with raisins!! I might even share hahaha!
**Everything I bring will be peanut, nut and soy free**
