HA HA HA HA HA ~ so glad you are keeping me Honest!
Sorry I completely forgot to update you.

I candled before LOCKDOWN
I put THIRTY eggs in the incubator -

BLUE SHOWGIRL MILLIE eggs ( long & tapered )
6 eggs looked good + 2 MAYBE ? = 8

Partridge SILKIE eggs (normal)
10 Looked good + 2 MAYBE ? = 12

WHITE Silkie x SHOWGIRL roo (normal)
8 eggs looked good + 2 MAYBE ? = 10

-------------------------------------

The results were Excellant!

BLUE MILLIE SHOWGIRL x Partridge silkie roo
2 showgirls + 6 blue silkies = EIGHT Chicks from Long Tapered eggs!!!!!

Partridge Silkies
2 Partridge colored + 3 sand colored partridge = 5 chicks

WHITE silkie x Showgirl
2 Showgirls + 5 white silkies = 7 chicks

* Out of the 20 chicks hatched, 18 have survived.
1 Partridge chick was grossly deformed, a BLUE chick was put down today
(swollen slipped tendon for the last 5 days )

The "LONG & TAPERED" eggs hatched better than the regular shaped eggs!!!
This was a Learning curve & I can't wait to hatch More "Long & Tapered" eggs - LOL
