RIP Jim McPhail

I was sad to learn that Jim McPhail, a long time poultry man and judge passed away this week. He was in his 80's and used to run the Milton Fall Fair Poultry Barn for many years and is where I met him. He was President of the Halton Agricultural Society in 1984 & 1985 and served on the Board of Directors for many years. He taught me more about poultry keeping and breeding than any book over the years. And he was a character and his many stories were always entertaining. I will miss him greatly and hope to live up to his standards as both a breeder and Chairman of the Poultry Committee, as well as a Director with H.A.S. I have big shoes to fill...

He will be missed,enjoyed clearking for him many years ago when I first started showing RIP buddy
