Came in from chores last evening for dinner..had a very nice roast pork repast..went back out to finish up and Otis had disassembled Earl...he may have been an cantankerous bird but oh how i missed the crowing this morning...damn!

Man that sucks! my dog is good with the birds, not so much with eggs but we had a bunch of free range rabbits. I kept wondering where they were disapearing to. one day I found her with a freshly killed one. grrrrr

10 month old Columbian Wyandotte, supper gentlemanly boy, offers right back all the lovely treats I give him.
He is going to be a victim to downsizing at his work place.
Absolutely guaranteed to crow in the morning ;)

Even the cantankerous ones have a way of growing on you.
I think you need to ... no, HAVE to ... take OC up on her offer. Earl would want you to find someone to take care of his hens. ;-)

TomK sorry for your loss, it's sad to lose a friend, even if cantankerous. Take OC up on her boy, beautiful and a gentleman, can't get any better than that.
