NEW Nesting boxes a SUCCESS

Nice nests! I put denim curtains on my nest boxes too. The hens like the privacy. I took the curtains down when I had an infestation of mites because I thought the mites would live on the material, and between the material and the wood. I wouldn't be able to get rid of them. I did wash them, but still thought they would hide mites. My hens still use the nests. Sometimes they face the front and sometimes they face the back.

Denim would be a really good curtain.
I have so much crap fabric that I can change the curtains every year.
I thought mites only like the wood to hide in & flesh to munch on?
