Amish barn raising

Post by thejonesboy » Tue Apr 12, 2016 7:33 pm

This is amazing. Ohio resident Scott Miller shot this timelapse video in 2014 of dozens of Amish men raising a barn. The entire construction cycle takes place between 7am and 5pm—with at least an hour for lunch—and yet the bulk of the work is done by the end of the day.

WOW that was really cool! and really neat to see. iv stared at our old barn and wondered how the heck it would get raised 100 years ago without crazy machinery... I get it now. everyone banded together and got the job done! Amazing. I think society could take some tips from these folks.
