I hate to tell you this, but a "4" has a triangle, not a circle.

it was a HINT.....if i'd said all the spots you can colour in inside a number would you have had to think at all???? didn't anyone else ever sit in church as a kid and colour in all the openings in the letters in the service program?
hey, i could have been nasty and changed the font where the 4 is actually open at the top and not enclosed and only put that in 1 line....THEN you'd all be really mad at me. LOL that's okay, i can't go red blue red blue red blue to get through a maze, so.....it's all good.
hey poultry_admin...looks like we need another puzzle.....
yeah, i work monday too.

So counting holes in numbers was apparently not a hit. How about swimming in a perfectly round lake in Ontario?
A swimmer stands at the north west shore of the lake and starts to swim eastwards. He reaches shore after 30m. Then he turns south and swims 40m until he hits shore.
What is the diameter of the lake?

And another one specially for SandyM asking for physics question....
Two guys push their boat into the water and row upstream for 1km. Then one of the guys looses his hat, it drifts downriver. They keep rowing upstream for 5 min before they decide that they turn around to pick up the hat (This is why they are two guys, not two girls!
). They row downstream for another 5 min before they catch the hat. This is coincidentally exactly the same spot where they started to row.
How fast flows the river?
Hint: When they row, they have one speed relative to standing water regardless if they row upstream or downstram. Either way they pull with the same strength and the same frequency. We ignore air resistance and the time it takes to turn the boat around.

this reminds me of our Canoe trip down the Saugeen River... (all guys) Hats n Beers will make guys do crazy things with a Canoe. HAHAHAHA usually only to admit defeat, at least with the beers, they are very fast swimmers. but were all going the same way and usually cross paths again. such a celebration to find that lost one down river! HAHA
My partner is an oger... huge dude, cant ride in a canoe by himself... hes my motor... dropped his fishing rod. in one swift maneuver with his hand flipped the boat! only time I went in so far unknowingly.....when he gave up looking for it he found it.... phew.... I was in a dry change of cloths ready to go on shore.
HAHA Good times!

where is the dog? the lab...there MUST be a lab in the boat. sorry, can't do the puzzle without there being a dog in the boat. because the guys are duck hunting....i'm sure of it. otherwise they'd have a sup'd up motor on that boat. and his hat would have blown off LONG ago.
