Sorry about the hatch Sandy!! Disappointing for you and broody momma.

Wow beautiful day out there but fresh, will bundle up this afternoon and start to do some yard clean up. Once I start that I won't feel the cold.

Well... it is nice out, but cold. I started some raking too... was sweating from being in the barn, got chilled when outside, but warmed up again.

Waiting on some PTO members to drop by!! Hopefully Flat Rock Farm, and Colleen make it. A little mini-reunion, lol. WLLady will show/help me pack turkey eggs, and shes bringing relatives of Flat Rock Farm too. I know that WLLady is nearly here.... so I have alerted the others.

The coffee is good on a cold day. The very cold temps this morning, doesn't look like it hurt any of the big flowers out on the crocus's! I bet the bees stay inside tho.....

Went to collect my 3 dog pens from TSC - oh wait, the pallet fell on unloading! SO of the 4 pens there we cannibalised the others to make 2. The damage looked to be from a misplaced fork that smashed the pallet and damaged all 4 pens. Oh well we have 2. At least they refunded the 3rd.

Yes, they didn't want to discount out any more because the were "on sale already". No worries they were 349 instead of 699 and the are the same as our others so they can be easily joined up.

Aw kb that SUCKS!!!
glad at least the 2 could be gotten tho so you could start.

Well back home after seeing shirley and meeting paula (frf) and colleen! Thank you so much paula for dessert tonight. It was nice enough we sat in the sun...that wind sure was chilly though!! Very good to meet everyone!
hope the EOs (frf relatives lol) are good for you bvf. They were laying up a storm all winter so hopefully they dont take too much time off from the trip up. Just finished bbq'd steak for dinner. Time to head out for chores and get all the baby turkeys settled under nice warm brooders for a chilly night coming up. Sure wish i had a huge barn like yours bvf! I will try to get photos tonight of blue wheaten boy when i am out doing chores.
