Hello from Thames Centre
Hello,I have just moved to a hobby farm. I am hoping you will be able to help me. Three of my grandchildren will be moving to join me next week. They are moving from Connecticut and can not bring their chickens with them across the border. They are very nervous about the move and leaving their chickens is making it even harder. They had a little flock, which included Polish, barred rock, buff Orpington, brahma, wyandotte, americana, auracana, and game hen as well as six different types of ducks. They raised them from chicks, and as well as having eggs, they were well loved pets. So I am looking to find some chicks so they can start again in Canada. I would appreciate some direction on where I could buy some heritage or different types of chicks for them. Ive been checking the internet but I haven't figured it out. I thought I would ask the experts.
Thanks
Dallas

Just put a wanted ad in the classified section, bound to have lots of responses or go to a fur and feather sale. Probably best though to arrange Presales with people on this Site to ensure healthy individuals. For the kids, chicks might be the best way to go so the birds will end up quite tame.
