This one is one of those strange calculations:
8 + 3 = 510
9 + 1 = 89
18 + 7 = 1124
12 + 4 = 815
6 + 2 = ?

Another one to warm up....

Two runners are competing against each other. They are both equally fast walking and equally fast running. But they differ in their race strategy.
The first runner walks the first halve of the distance, then runs the second halve.
The second runner walks the first halve of the race time, then runs the second halve.

Who gets to be the first one at the finish line?

Ok....its been up 3 days with no takers.

8+3=510......8-3=5 (first number) and 8+3=11-1=10
9+1=89....9-1=8 and 9+1=10-1=9
18+7=1124...18-7=11 and 18+7-1=24
12+4=815....12-4=8 and 12+4-1=15
6+2=? 6-2=4 (first number) and 6+2-1=7 so that is 47.

Final answer 6+2 = 47

Another nasty one....

8+2=2
5+1=0
6+9=2
5+2=0
5+3=0
4+2=1
6+9+10+4+1=4
So what does 6+6=?

Hint...it is nothing even remotely related to the above math problem...and really doesnt have much to do with math at all.
