Good Morning!

Post by WLLady » Mon Mar 14, 2016 7:53 am

Good morning everyone! Congrats Dean! always exciting at this time of year to see all the new babies happening!
Yep, saturday for BVF, and i'll bring along sweet potato shoots for SandyM and FRF.....anyone else in that area want any? I finally exhausted the tubers, so not sprouting any more, but figure i can bring 5 for people, and that will leave me a few for the garden.

dark this morning! lol. this time change thing, i just do not get it. At least it's only a week or so of driving in the dark again....and more light in the evenings! yay! i LIKE that.

my little turkey poults have learned how to fly LOL. i took the screen off the brooder yesterday to clean it. cleaned it up and then spent 20 minutes rounding up 8 poults. love it! i will have one that looks like a narry, and one will be red slate i think. and the rest should be royals, hopefully some without pencilling, so i can clean them up a bit. the male carries one copy of pencilling from somewhere.

feels like spring! my crocuses will be blooming probably either tonight or tomorrow. LOVE this time of year.
hope everyone has a great day!

I wonder if these pictures should be in dominion link Thread he had started on the subject?
The Good morning thread fills so fast, lots of people will miss them?

Good morning. Its a crappy crappy day. Cool, very damp.. pizzling... and foggy as all get out.

Did a quick round in the barn, bedded the cows... and then went to my bee sting. Got that done, and home again. I have to babysit Jacob soon.

I've been in contact with the person who we bought our bull from in 2011. Hes such a young guy... only 5, but we will have nearly 20 heifers of his after we pick this summer. So... I wanted to know if he knew of anyone who wanted a blonde bull. He said he would be interested in buying him back!! So, we told him the highest cull bull price of the week he bought him. Based on 2000 lbs.. which my husband thinks he weighs. So, I just came in from taking pictures. Horrid day for that, lol. All the idiot wanted to do was paw the ground, and stir up the crap in the bedded area. I did get a few. I got alot of crap ones tho.

Heres a couple I took of him.
