Re: New Year's resolutions
So I guess this isn't the time to mention that the toffee apple pecan steamed pudding I was fighting with came out great?

Re: New Year's resolutions
If I can’t have it I’ll take a copy of the recipe instead, DH has been craving an English steamed pudding!
And of course, the proof is in the pudding! Enjoy!!!

Re: New Year's resolutions
My wife is my coach and doesn't even charge for it. Knows me and my body. Cuts down on salt so I have to do it at the table. Feeds me keenwah and brothel sprouts. Tells me when to get up, when to go to bed. Makes me have a bath. Makes me go see other people whenI want to stay home with the goats. Stuff like that. And she consults with the leading researchers in the field, her mother, my mother and Ann Landers.Killerbunny wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 7:17 amget a trainer or coach that understands you and your body.
No pain, no gain they say. Well I could use not gaining for a while, but its not likely to happen.

Re: New Year's resolutions
I can't remember the last time I made a New Year's Resolution. Going to the gym doesn't work for me. Finding an activity that works for me is key.
I have started skating again, though; albeit, I have missed the last 4 times that I could go due to unforeseen circumstances (2 funerals).
To look after my health, my resolution will be to eat more vegetables and exercise more frequently - walks, dance exercises, Tai Chi, skating.
OK... there it is in print; now I have to do it.

Re: New Year's resolutions
I don't make new year resolutions any longer...not so much because i give up on them, although some are easier to give up on than others and I have given up on some in the past, but moreso because in my dotage I tend to forget I ever made them and just blow the entire effort up with my forgetfulness...I think..
