OPB 2018 Entry Total

Post by modern17 » Thu Oct 04, 2018 12:09 pm

Entries are officially closed.. we ended up just a little ahead of last year.. total entry is 1640 birds. Birds from across the country and 2 states will be converging for a grand competition ! The sales area will be a flurry of activity with lots of sales coops booked. Don't forget our print sale, our live top breeders silent auction and many other activities. We have several vendors that will be on hand as well including the ABA American Bantam Association, the Poultry News Papers , SF Apparel and many others . Truly an event not to miss !

I was really hoping to get there this year, if not as an exhibitor, then at least as a spectator. Damn car needs $1400 worth of repairs. Hoping I can get er done before the 21st!

Oh boy, I am officially starting to pace and panic. Hoping they don't all drop dead on Thursday LOL! Feathers are coming in so I have been giving them encouraging little chats.

Breeder of the Buckeye has been a long hard road. But, I am starting to see my work pay off with a win of Best American, Champion Large Fowl with a 2018 pullet. Very excited to continue my work with SC RIR LF, Bantam White and Black Wyandotte, Bantam New Hampshires, Bantam Buckeyes, and Embden Geese.
