Basketball invented by Canadian James Naismith at a YMCA in New York (or Boston?) in late 1800's. Interesting story really. About three pages in one of my Bathroom Readers.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.

Ball sports are not my strong area, but I guess I get a 50% chance of getting it right!

Interesting, would have thought volleyball was younger than that.
