Fraudster in Owen Sound

Morning,
I'd like to put a heads up about a scammer from the Owen sound area, who is using kijiji as his source of income, we have fallen to one of his ads but luckily according to the police are one of a few people that has sent a limited amount, lots of others have lost lots more from this dishonest guy.

His name is Adam from the Owen sound area, phone number is 519-270-0118 and his email is wildrrodeo@outlook.com if you cone across one of his ads or even know the guy call the police/crime stoppers immediately. He already has several warrants out for his arrest mostly on frauding honest people of their hard earned money.

My father-in-law was looking for a seacan/shipping container, I bought mine last spring for $2200 so when I seen his ad for $2000 I immediately jumped on it because they're anywhere from 2200-2500 on kijiji, replying back and forth, I sent a deposit (same as I did for my container) like I would and have for previous ads without question then the delivery was delayed then "it should be there by now I 'll call the driver and see what's going on" eventually my wife realized what was going on so that's when we call the authorities.

Sucks but these things happen, shouldn't but do. We're already financially strapped since I had jury duty in the entire month of February.

Just heads up, kijiji is a great way to sell quick items but it comes with a cost.

Sorry to hear about the dishonesty.....and even more sorry about jury duty!!!! Argh. Some people. Seems they will try anything to make a buck. We have a couple in london actually managing to steal jewelry off people on the street! Targetting elderly women mostly. Its just low.

I've been watching some ads on kijiji disappear as if sold then come back up in a week or so, all these ads ask for a deposit to hold it. It being a puppy, made me wonder what the heck was going on but now I think I know.

Yikes! I just put something up on kijiji.......these types of things kills honest people who are just trying to clean out their basements

My trust with kijiji has now gone, I deleted all of my ads and am taking a break, had a guy call wanting to buy some chicken crates, asked if id deliver i said yes but only a minimum of 25 to make it worth the drive, ok that's great he said, i mentioned a couple times about the price if he was still good about it, ya ya, ok, I meet him an hour away and he hands me a fraction of the total price oh ok I'll just buy a couple instead...I must've read the ad wrong...sorry.
March has been a terrible month for me....kijiji wise, hopefully April and beyond is better, any fur/feather sales will be on here

Brutal, ontario is the only province that doesn't pay starting on day 1, have to wait until day 11, I believe Alberta and Quebec pays minimum $100/day, 3wks on a possession trial, because I live less than 20kms from the courthouse my pay was $42, $55 and $61 for each week - wohoo it was interesting to say the least, I enjoyed it minus the reimbursement.

I've always wanted to be on a jury!!! Why am I never called?! Sorry about the scammers. Retail stores in our area are seeing a resurgence of them as well. And they're BOLD. There's all kinds of ways to make a living...

Jury duty is not fun. DH had to do it and he ended up being Foreperson on a child molestation case. Not good.
