4 Ameraucanas, 2 Sizzles & 4 silkies.
The sizzles are the smallest in the coop.
Suddenly one of the SizzleFrizzle wasn't able to move around the coop
It couldn't put any weight on the leg & the leg was slightly out to the side.
I feared "Marek's" & removed the bird asap so no others would be affected.
The chicken is so darn cute that I decided to give it a treat vaca before putting it down
( Yeah I know there's no Logic, but I hated to put it down )
A few days later it seemed to improve a bit, but I figured it's legs would be splayed soon.
But instead the bird continued to improve every day.
2 weeks later it was standing errect & chatting.
Today marked it's 3rd week of solitude, with continual improvement
It eats, drinks, stands upright, chats & runs over for treats.
THANK GAWD my diagnosis was wrong & THANK GAWD I didn't put the bird down!
