Interesting idea. Cool would be to make your own NH3 on site from solar or (duck) wind, store in your tank and burn in winter for heat...

Hope that comes to a place near me in the near future.

I have spent most of my working life exploring for oil and gas. (Stop that booing and hissing.) I am not sure if this will work or not. The site is interesting, but also raises questions.

What is the technology? They don't say. They say the have patented it, what is their fear of talking about it? I would like to know a little more about the production process and the changeover of the engine to use it, how it works.

They don't say where they are located, no phone or email address, just a form that I have no idea where it goes. Nothing wrong with that, but if it is some kind of scam, they go very light on contact info, and at first glance, this seems so here.

They are not asking for investors or promoters on the site, maybe they have that handled. But they do ask you to contact them. Is the money request coming later, like a Nigerian love letter? Work your way in first, then put the bite on? Maybe not, don't know.

I am absolutely not accusing them of being scammers, I don't know, but there is not enough information in this site to even form an opinion. I hark back to "If its too good to be true, ......" I cannot see any government not looking into something like this, but then the people would have to divulge the technology (already patented) and they don't seem to be forthcoming with it. All that said, wouldn't it be nice if it is true and gets developed.

A good idea that nobody wants and therefore everyone ignoring it...where have I heard that before?

Oh yeah...Car and Driver had an article in the early 2000's about a backyard mechanic (and former race motorcycle guy) from India who developed an engine head design that allowed gas engines to run at 15:1 compression ratio (vs 9:1 at that time) and he had achieved perfect combustion of gasoline meaning more power and better fuel consumption and an idle of 500rpm in any engine he puts his head on.
Not a car company would return his mail or phone calls. Eventually TATA picked him up but I have yet to see his work anywhere.

Gave it a quick read, I have to work in 1/2 an hour. I agree with everything Farrier said, I think the company and research need a closer look. There is this 'contact' on the research page: C. Zamfirescu, I. Dincer
Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ont., Canada L1H 7K4
Anyone want to put in a few minutes to check out that organization?

The school is legit; 10,000 students and shares campus w Durham College (i've never heard of it until now)

Calin Zamfirescu is a prof at Uoit and shows as author or co-author of 6 books (textbooks?) about hydrogen and energy systems

Just looked up the author's, they are both well published, Ibrahim Dincer in particular.
I wonder how the R & D was and is funded.
