Large fire in Minesing

Post by Happy » Thu Dec 22, 2016 9:18 am

I've just learned of a large fire at an industrial farm in Minesing and heard that it was part of @Giffen Farms
Happened early this morning. Nobody injured thankfully. Hoping and praying I've heard wrong....
Thoughts are with you.

I did read about that one. Just tragic.
I've read that the fire in Minesing had no human or animal losses so that's great at least. Horrible to deal with but buildings and all else can be replaced.

Good evening everyone,
All is ok no one hurt, our shop is in the center of my place and mom and dad's houses were untouched and Springwater fire did an amazing job, my coop is on the north side and not much more than 6' from the shop and didn't even touch it and no loss of birds.

The egg/chicks sales this year will be hindered this spring, my new 1502 incubator and just recently scored matching hatcher that I found for dirt cheap a few weeks ago..... all gone :sSig_censored:

Sorry to hear this, @Giffen Farms. I'm glad that you, your family and your livestock weren't harmed.
Shame about your incubator and hatcher. Hopefully, part of the cost can be recovered with insurance?
