Informal name poll.

So we are expecting our second child very soon. It's a boy and we're at loggerheads over his name. There are two names that we both like, but we each have a different preference. The names are Charlie and Levi, and the last name is Link. Middle names will be Richard William, after our Fathers. I won't divulge, for now, which of us prefers what name, but I would like to hear what all of you think....... And go!

Oddly enough in this day and age, Charlie would be unique, he could go to a large school and probably be the only Charlie there. I guess on the other hand Levi is an ok name too, someone named my jeans that name and I know a couple of people who call their dogs Levi. So you see what I just did there in my passive aggressive way right? Lol. I wish you all the best with your new baby on the way.

Names are tough, and oddly enough, quite a personal thing for parents. I've heard kids saddled with the stupidest names over the years and some atrocious spelling variations. If given those two as firm choices, my gut instinct is to avoid alliteration and go with Charlie, although i cringe at calling a grown man Charlie...but thats just me.

I like Charlie Link but I am partial to less trendy names. Levi Link sounds movie-starish to me I think. I've always felt that you will know when you see him! Best wishes.

Levi. 100%

But when he is born you'll know.
Joshua was a Ryan or Matthew. When he was born neither suited him. Somehow Joshua just came to mind and stuck.

Big sister's preference is the same as mine, most days. Other days she prefers Prince Alladin and such.

I like Charlie... and he will likely be called Charles.

I was bound and bent that Melissa was going to be Jessica before she was born. WHEN she was, she didn't look like a Jessica to me. For some reason, I couldn't call her that. Weird. It took me 3 weeks (us) to decide on a name. Meanwhile, we did get a birth certificate in the mail, that read 'Infant' as her first name. LOL.

Good luck with the newbie!! I know your daughter will be OVER the moon, whatever you decide.
