In Ontario..What am I doing?

Post by la-chicken » Sat Oct 08, 2016 9:16 am

Landed in Windsor on Thursday. With my frozen turkey( that I hatched and harvested) in a cooler and became my carry on.
Stepped off the plane and hit a wall of heat. Left the house with -5C and came to 23C. Smoking hot......and packed much too warm clothing. LOL

Yesterday, Took my brother shopping ( which he hates! But, he needed a few things). Stocked the kitchen for those extra Thanksgiving items ( wine...LOL). Talked to my family back home and was told there as a blizzard today. And snow was in the forecast for 2 more days....feeling a bit guilty about complaining about the heat.

Today? Brigden Fair....I heard there was a poultry show. So, I am going to drag my brother out. I truly believe, he would prefer to stay home.........but, if I keep cooking and baking ( yes, baked buns last night) it may become putty in my hands. First, chicken fix in the works.

Nice timing on the weather ;) and a bravery award on the carry on turkey ( sounds like a great title for a movie)
Hope you have a great Ontario stay!
