Duck weed

Post by goatgal35 » Wed Jul 20, 2016 10:23 pm

Does anyone have any experience using duck weed as feed for their birds. All my guys love it. I wonder how much of their normal feed can be replaced with it? Thanks in advance for any input or info :)

Great article you found Ross. May look at harvesting some from our ponds and stream.

I haven't be able to find any info on the protein content of it fresh from the pond. All the studies I have found were on dried duckweed. So far my guys all seem pretty happy eating a bucket full every other day, so, I'll just keep on keepin' on.
