Well I'm going to have a few little cockerels looking for homes. My last two moms hatched 2 eggs each and I think they're all boys. Cuties!

They really are cuties, and mama is beautiful! What indications are you seeing that makes you think that the chicks may be boys?

First indication is their combs. These guys sprout their combs VERY early. These guys are just 3 1/2 weeks I think. Here's another little guy at just 7 weeks old. Second indication is the colour of feathers they have coming in on their chest. The chipmunk patterned girls get a lighter coloured chest than the boys.

These 3 are Pebbles chicks. Would prefer they went together. The little rooster is blue/red or blue/wheaten-I'm not positive yet but he's already looking like a stunner. The girls look to be 1 wheaton and 1 Black Breasted red. These guys have been free ranging with mom every day all day since they were 1 week old. Very smart little birds.
