OK so PJ, the little whotsit has heard about the hatchitis problem. She dumped her last chicks last week at 13 weks. That was her second lot this year. Now she wants babies again and was running round her old (closed up) broody coop generally distraught and earlier was trying to steal other peoples eggs to sit on. Oh boy!

Oh dear! Good luck with that. Could be worse, I guess; could be -27C. I know, small consolation. Gotta love 'em, though. :-)

Hey everyone, made the switch over. Decided to use my first name instead of Rideaqh since I was in facebook anyway. Been a busy weekend of housework. Steam cleaning carpets and washing down walls and windows. My back is not happy about it but we needed a good clean up.

Have not had a lot of time to check out the new forum yet...is there a way to just see the new posts like a "View Today's Posts" like we used to have?

Hello all,
thanks for your active participation this weekend! It looks like we are off to a great start of the rearing of PTO.

Please :help: the PTO team!
As of tomorrow morning we are back in our dayjobs and won't have time to read all the posts (>500 in two days). So I am kindly asking if you could use the "Administrative -> Updates + Suggestions + Troubleshooting" area for those items that need an administrator's attention. And you can always send me a private message.
If you need the attention of a moderator, I am sure you have seen the little "!" next to the pencil. Using it or private messaging one of the moderators will get them involved.
And most importantly, plese be patient, we will get to it. :running-chicken:
Thanks for your support!
The PTO team.

Good monday morning everyone! YAY! we made it through the first weekend open with the new board! :yippiechickie:

welcome to summer! LOL. sure is warm! looks like it will be that way till tomorrow..... :wee:
hope everyone had a great weekend! i did some hunting, saw 3 does, let them go. think i'm done hunting for the season now, i have so much other stuff that needs doing! i know there's another 2 weeks left, maybe i'll get out a couple of days...we shall see. the woods look so open now! and the leaves smell like early spring-i have expect to find morels and leeks growing!

once again i didn't get half of the stuff done i wanted to this weekend. hubby put the winters on the car and truck, so we are all ready there. i did get a couple pens cleaned, and a feed run done....moved my left over cockerels to the boy's den (the outside grow out pen) and selected my breeders for the upcoming next season, a little bit of training with the horses and some baking.....thankfully the christmas break is coming up so i may actually manage to get time to clean my house....and the rest of the barn. LOL. i still have one panel of screen to put up for turkeys so i have 3 pens for turkey pairs. and a little bit more to do upstairs...the sparrows are still finding little nooks and crannies to get in and out....gah!

hope everyone had an awesome weekend!
