Good Morning!
So remember the guy @ the end of my road that got goats and they were on the road, in the ditches and in the farmers fields? I put pictures up somewhere on the forum.
Well. I saw him the other day and asked him where the goats went because I hadn't seen them in a week.
Story goes like this: they got out too many times no matter what he did. They chewed up his deck, did something to his ATV's (wiring related). Kicked the bee hives over.
Final straw: he left them in the barn but They got out that day (duh) and he knew he was stuck at work for a longer than normal day. He got home and they had basically destroyed the barn and his 2 mini horses were at the gate wanting back IN! The goats travelled about 3 km down the road and parked it at an alpaca farm.
They have all been sold.

Good Morning!
Kind of figured that would happen. My Billy parkoured up a solid wall and pulled down the aspenite ceiling in his stall, just because he could. At least he's contained this winter, last year we resorted to padlocking him in because no matter what latches we put on there, within the week he'd figure out how to shake them open or bust them off.The babies are busily EATING their walls, to make better footholds for their own acrobatics. Ma and Aggie just look on with that exhausted, fond exasperation older mom's develop lol. Main power is shut off, just in case there are tasty wires hiding in those walls!Maximus wrote:QR_BBPOST So remember the guy @ the end of my road that got goats and they were on the road, in the ditches and in the farmers fields? Good Morning!
Good evening!
We admins have been busy the last little while with prepping some changes. We hope they are all for the better!!
New URL: pto.ca
Why? Well, poultrytalkontario.net is great, but a bit long and difficult to handle on coffee mugs and T-Shirts....
One of theses weekends coming up will be a moving day for us. I will migrate the forum over to the new location. You will have lots of warning that the forum won't be available for an hour or two. The move will happen in 4 steps:
1) hits to pto.ca will be forwarded to poultrytalkontario.net (currently working like that)
2) I move the forum over to pto.ca and poultrytalkontario.net will forward the traffic to pto.ca
3) This is your step, you need to update your bookmarks to the new location
4) I will discontinue poultrytalkontario.net some time in the late fall of 2017 (again with announcements that you need to change your bookmarks)
New Logo First of all a huge thank you to Andy! His logo served us well for the last year and a bit!
We needed one that showed pto.ca and I thought I add a bit more "talking". So I did some changes. Hope you like it! Thanks to Kenya for her showgirl in the banner visible for those on bigger screens. I'm working on getting that visible to smaller screens as well, but that might be a bit yet... This might change someone's decision to buy a coffee mug or T-Shirt, hope not though. Anyways, if you are toying with the idea, we will use the new logo for the merchandise.
What do you think?

Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.
