hope some of the emoticons are useful. i really like this one..... :giraffe: reminds me of my one horse LOL

just don't ask my husband about the "emotionally wearing" thing...he takes the brunt of it i think for which i am really sorry....sigh.
we'll get through it.

we started building the cabinet around the pool last night, one side is framed and most of the boards put up, the front is a bit more of a challenge to design the framing but i think we came up with a plan. will take some careful measuring...but i'll do that tonight while hubby is teaching (at least his evening class is not on a friday!). it's going to look amazing once its all done!!! I can't wait-even the little bit we did last night makes it look awesome(r)!!!

woke up last night to hubby gone and all this noise downstairs....turns out there was a bat in the house, and it was all tired from flying around so it was on the floor and just out of reach of the one dog that is crated for the night. and he was trying to get the crate to move over so he could reach it LOL. i only heard second hand after hubby came back up, and i was not really awake...but i do believe he said he got work gloves on and put it outside but it pee'd on his workgloves!? LOL. interesting. poor bat. i didn't see anything on the patio this morning so hopefully it made it....we get lost youngsters at this time of year, we have bats in the attic and under the roofing steel above the ply and sometimes they get lost and end up coming out in the basement and then fly up the stairs etc. so looks like i'll wash some work clothes later tonight on cheap(er) hydro time...including gloves lol.

ordered a pile of fall bulbs/roots from veseys, and just got the email that the shipped! whoohoo!!!!! we are putting gardens in around the shed and walkway etc....so this weekend i get to plan those and rip up some sod, and put in some manure. i weakened, with all this talk of daylilies, i bought a bunch of different ones. i can't wait to see them come up next spring! and some different hostas, because we have 2 types...the type that does well and is boring green, and the type that isn't doing well and is white and green LOL. tired of just the basic green type. have lots of space, so. those should be in next week sometime...so if i get the beds ready this weekend i can just plant them when they arrive! AND it's a long weekend!!! of course too many things planned, and will fill the time completely and then some....

have a great day everyone!

And this evening was that time when my little broody trotted back up the slope to her own coop leaving the babies behind in the maternity coop! 9 weeks, good girl.

Tonight i went to the barn for chores. I put 3 new girls in with 2 old girls yesterday and tonight the littlest one is in a recovery pen. Sigh. Some birds can be right jerks.
Hopefully she will be okay. As soon as i removed her the other two got picked on so they went back to their old pen for their own safety. The other ten or so i moved yesterday are all just fine....go figure.

Yay for good mamas kb!!
