I followed Al's lead today by posting a farewell to PSO, and a big thank you to Erin, by posting to the first thread I started PSO, and I think my KUDOs to Erin bears repeating in this thread as well:
I was so happy to have found [PSO], a community of poultry enthusiasts from all over Ontario as well as from other provinces in Canada; friendly, knowledgeable and supportive people who helped me in so many ways when I first got into poultry, and who continue to do so.
Very special thanks to you, Erin, for having provided PSO to all its members for all the years that you did. Without PSO, my flock may never have happened, or survived my inexperience.
Thank you Erin for hosting us all on PSO!!!!!

Thank you Erin for getting it all started.
You know you have made a pretty amazing contribution to the hobby of poultry keeping and I have a great admiration for you and what you have achieved.
As I was trying to compose this post in my head I realized what huge change PSO have made in the "Chicken portion" of my life.
These are the things I have done in the 5 years of PSO membership, and which would have never happened if it wasn't for PSO
In June 2011, organized a Poultry Seminar in Port Perry, led by Mark Camirelli and Paul Kroll, what a great opportunity to meet bunch of people, both knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby..
The same year got my first batch of Ameraucana chicks, start to a great adventure.
When FFF was dispersing her flock of Blue Wyandottes I convinced another PSO member that she really needed them.
2 years later I traded 2 Ameraucana pullets for 2 doz hatching eggs of Blue Wyandottes and it becomes quite clear that none of this would have happened without PSO.
Visited Colwin Championship Showcase , showed birds at Napanee and Spencerville, brought some new blood in to improve my breeding efforts and in the process met so many interesting people, some of them personally (you know who you are;) and some of them only on the Forum, but feel as if I know them, the experience have been simply invaluable and for that I Thank you.
