Good Morning,
It is beautiful outside. The sun is making everything sparkle. No new yote tracks this morning. They have been coming right up to our house most nites. Let the birds out and went to feed the goats. The sun was shining in on a corner of their shed. All 4 babies are curled up together sleeping in the sunny spot, just beautiful to see. Partridge Chanteclers and Barred Rocks starting to pip in the bator. Life doesn't get much better than this :) I hope everyone has a fabulous day.

Good Morning!
I could have really used a picture of the 'goatletts' sounded very cozy, not the yotes though, that sounds a bit worrisome.
Bright and sunny here, assembling of breeding pens by proxy continuing as well as to be expected, DH separated 3 Black Ameraucana hens (at least he tells me he did) in a pen where "Bluie" is penned in large dog crate.
Tomorrow I will ask him to take a picture of the pen just to see what he missed, considered installing camera, not sure DH could take the pressure ;)
Have a safe one, spring coming this wknd.

Turns out I couldn't wait until tomorrow, had him take a picture today, yes there are 3 Black hens, no he didn't give them enough water, just the same amount he gave to the 1 roo, that was there before, about 1"
He did a good job on the bedding, so you know, the usual. ;)
BTW Gill, I call it Attention to detail!!

Its a nice bright day!! I just finished planting some more peppers, and broccoli... and cauliflower, and a few tomatoes. I planted some tomatoes out one year, April 1st. Had the first tomato June 29th! course, by the time I could take the tires off... they were 5 high, lol.

Sigh. Davids truck is not fixed. The transmission place handed him a bill of $3400. A week to the day, today, they said they have put another $1000 into it, that they weren't going to charge him for. Its still not fixed. So, WTF? Pay the $3400 and go and spend the same or more, somewhere else?? Thanks goodness Daves boss has kind of taken charge of the situation for him. Hes threatened non payment, and better business bureau.... and now there is contention as well. Good lord. I wished now he'd have taken it to a ford dealer. I sure hope this truck isn't going to cost him the $6000 ford will likely bill... PLUS the $3400 he owes the transmission shop. AND they don't take credit card. A cheque. Or cash. Who in the h e double L, has that kind of money laying around??

I'm so pissed, and it has nothing to do with me, other than I hate to see this happen to him. Hes only 26. This is his second truck. First truck got hit, while it was parked on the side of the road. OFF the road, totally. Outside wheels on the grass.. not even the shoulder. Then, gets insurance money, forks out more for this newer, nicer truck.... (why in the world they have to drive something nice..... well, he drove a chevy poopilear for the first two years....), his truck payments are $400 and something a month.... and his insurance is $300 something a month.........................................

Oh well. I'm off the soap box. Learning curve. I guess.
