This reminds me of when I brought the whole family in. We had all had a bad cold. My husband was saying how his throat was sooooooo sore. So our doctor looked down his throat and said you're fine. The kids were toddlers and they seemed perfectly fine but they had a low grade fever for a few days after their initial bad cold so I brought them in. She noticed their throats were infected and it looked like they had strep throat and said they were too young to do a throat swab. She listened to my lungs and said I had bronchitis. She put everyone but my husband on antibiotics. My husband was upset and asked her to look at his throat again because he said it was killing him there must be something wrong. He said he needs medicine to. Our doctor smiled and said you're fine as she walked out of the room
