Happy, yes...i love the colour...quite rich...none of the pullets are laying large yet...all medium sized eggs thus far...and i have two leghorn cross pullets that are taking their sweet time too...hearty appetites, those two...freeloaders...lol
You and me both, my friend, my kids are in no hurry to give me any grandbabies, and I refuse to hint that I'd like some LOL

I love the colour too, and new pullet eggs, even someone else's, never gets old! It's always exciting, and a small affirmation of the work and food you put into them. Congratulations!

Jan, the rocks are in moult but still give me 4-5 eggs a day from 12 birds...and the pullets are all starting up...more and more every day...if i find a white egg soon the mix will be complete, but the skittish two freeloaders are too busy living the good life...lol...
