The Kingston store too, I’ll miss it as it has many things you can’t find in other stores in the city.

Oh no! We buy our chicken feed from Peavey Mart. They didn't like the crumbs we that we always ended up with from the previous supplier :(.

Linda, my birds always turned their beaks up at any of the feed from Peavey Mart, especially the crumble...they chow down happily on the course layer mash from Bakers in Forfar...and the price is very reasonable...I never found much success f8nd8ng what i needed at a decent price at Peavey Mart and their customer service is terrible...oh well...I won't miss them

I liked the HiPro starter and grower for my young birds. The Purina Golden Startena killed several of my turkey poults, turned solid in the poor things crop. We also used their oats with molasses (not available at Bakers though we get our other food there). This provides methionine which some feeds are low on!

I liked that they were open on Sundays but our local feed store had better service and chicken knowledge. I dont think our chickens liked any feed much. They were looking for insects, greens, and oh my the craziness that would ensue if one of them found a frog LOL...

Why did it go solid? Maybe they should have a warning label. ***Do not feed to turkeys***

No idea. It was specific high proetin for chicks and turkey poults. @windwalkingwolf had a problem with it too.

I now hear that all the stores are closing and they are seeking creditor protection. The worst part was they hadn't told the staff! It just went live on CBC.
