Hope Update: The Kitten in the Box From Vernon Auction
Hi Everyone,
Many of you will remember the heartbreaking story of the three very sick kittens in a small box that was dumped in the parking lot at the Vernon auction. Hope, the lone survivor, is probably about 6 months old now. There are once-in-a-lifetime cats and Hope is one of them. She is always near me. I have a bond with her that is unbreakable. She is happy and good-natured. She runs like an elephant at night when she is playing with her 'brothers and sisters' and is obsessed with water. She is the best girl in the world and I love her to pieces. Enjoy!

People were so kind and many donated so I thought that I would update. The money went towards the expensive kibble she needed to maintain her weight at first. Oh, she was a poor, sick girl. Now that she is healthy when I look back, I realize how close she came to not making it ... I have some money left and am saving it for vet expenses down the road. She is right beside me now cleaning herself. Really, she is always near me, unless she is watching water run down the tub or the sink.

I am glad that those of us that helped her along did. Every animal in distress deserves to either be helped along, or helped out, and not to suffer. Shes beautiful! Thanks for the update!
